There is a Maya and ZBrush viewport presentation from the Lady character of the Swing project. This is a great art project for a 3d re-vision of the famous 1767 painting by Jean-Honore Fragonard. I sculpted the head in ZBrush and I used the face of Elle Fanning as a reference. To make the bun hair, eyebrow and eyelash I used the powerful Maya XGen. The lady’s clothes were made by another artist, then I detailed this costume in ZBrush and I textured it in Photoshop. I sculpted her fine hands and I simulated the ruffles of arms in Marvelous Designer. The ropes were created in 3ds Max. You can see more details about the making-of in the Swing Breakdown post. Here is a WIP version of the rendering by Spencer Fitch. Last year was an exhibition about the project by Chris Coy.

To grooming the bun hair, eyebrow and eyelash I used the powerful Maya XGen tool, I really like it. With guide curves easy to control the direction of hairs, with expression easy to customize the style and details, with texture maps easy to control the density.
